Dual Tone Interiors on Punto

Planning to change my existing dual tone shade with Black & Beige. But before doing so, I thought of having few options to look at it. And here's few I came up with, I know it's personal choice when it comes to select interior colors but I'm just randomly requesting for your suggestions. Just wanted to make sure that I should not regret later, Please have a look and suggest :).

Hi guys,Recently got drooled over seeing Projector headlights in few cars running on delhi roads.

In a bid tosave money and invest it in a beautiful way i thought of inquiring about the best places to look for the following things required for my DIY for my projector headlights retrofitment project[LOLZ-i am so elated,PROJECT!]

1.Projector headlight units[From BMW/MERC/SKODA scraps]

2.XENON bulbs for the Projectors.[new]

3.HID kits -Philips or other best available new kits with a approx. cost.

4.Shrouds/bezels.

5.Angel eyes.[CCFL types]

I understand that there might be only few replies on this but do feel free to contribute,it might save me huge money considering the Shipment options presently available from couple of sources in US and Australia which are good but priced high.

Hey guys I have booked Ritz Vdi.

The delivery is expected around 25th Nov.

I have booked racing green colour.

I am going to drive my Ritz in Mumbai city streets.

My main query is about the accessories, I am surely not purchasing them from the dealer as they prove to be very costly.

I also have a good budget, I just want the list of necessary accessories which cannot be omitted 4 sure.

I am just purchasing mudflaps and taflon coating from the dealer.

I have gone through many forums here and finally registered at CarWale.com to be part of it.

Headlight Modification for i10

Hi,

I planned to change my default headlight. Because the default one is 60/55W it's not enough. Shop keeper suggest me to use PHILIPS Rally Halogen H4 12V 110/100W. Is this higher Watts melt due to over heat. Is any problem will come if i use this? Please guide me shall i go for this.

i10 headlamps: Making them brighter but without HID

I have a Hyundai i10 era 2008 model. By default, the bulbs that came in the headlamps were "12V 60/55W, P43t). But I wasn't happy weith lighting I changed them to Hella H4 (12v 100/90W), the gu who chanegd the bulbs aklso put a relay so that holders should not get burnt out.

But guess what, I am stioll not happy, both the throw distance and the brightness of high/low beam isn't sufficient. Some guy in the NOIDA Sec.16 market put soerm foglights for s.500 (a pair) sayignthey were original, obviously they weren't.

Is there anything else that I can try? Anything but HD, too expensive and blinds the guy coming towards you. I read somewhere that Philips Power Extreme bulbs perform very weel? Can anyone verify this? Laos, any idea about the specs, cause there are hundreds of them in the market.

I am a newbie to cars so really lost right now.

Complete Accessories for Dzire

i have booked Dzire Vxi and expecting delivery within one-two months,

i have some doubts about accessories,

1. Reverse Sensors - Iam planning to go for reverse sensors(4 unit). i got a good idea about this from another thread. Dealer quote me 5000 rupees for the work. is it possible to do the work outside(there it will cost around 3.5k only( does it affect warranty?

2. Sun film - iam planning to go only for medium cost film only. Since the colour of the car will be Greay or Blue, what is the optimum colour for sunfilm? and what will be the average cost?

3. Seat cover and Steering cover - I dont have any idea about this. I cant afford any costly items, could anyone help me in this?

4. Alloyes - Dealer quoting 16.5 K to 18K for this. What is the average cost of a good looking decent alloy?

5. Spoilers - Is spoilers are expensive?

6. Anti rust coating - What is the average cost?

7. Some cosmetic works like lighting etc - could anyone have good idea and experience regarding this?

What are the other accessories that can be used with Dzire?

New Type of Head Lamps

I just brought myself two sets of Headlamps which are rather new in the market, These are xenon filled Halogen lamps, and i have not yet tried them out on the Roads, however i checked their light quality and find its much more brighter than normal. My Vista requires H1 and H7 (High and low beams). I was charged 1200 for two sets, viz. 4 bulbs and was told that since these are just being tried out, they are being sold at Rs.299/- per bulb, which will normally cost 2400/-.

I will keep apprised of the Light quality once i have some night driving, but it appears to be better than my stock bulbs.

If anyone is interested in purchasing you can contact me thru this thread, the dealer is in ernakulam, and he couriered me the bulbs.

I have booked a red punto for myself. Now, i asked the dealer to put body kit on the rear view mirrors and door handles. He says he would take another two days for it.

Should i get it from the dealer or should i get it done from outside?

What else should i get from the dealer?

Horn Change for Alto

Yesterday i had removed factory fitted horn for my Alto (as i felt it was very feeble and it is a single horn) and fitted a double horn from a local accessory shop. Until fitting it i didnt have any doubt

Now i am thinking of it.. Will it void my warranty (mine is 4months old vehicle). Also one fellow told the horn's fitted from outside will drain the battery soon. Did anyone know about this?

If it is a problem, i will revert back to company fitted one. Please help.
