Suggestions-i20 Asta ICE

Hi Guys expecting my i20 asta black color in 3-4 days...needed some suggestions as far as ICE goes.

1. i20 Asta comes with 4 normal speakers on the door. Is there any difference in quality of sound if the speakers are fitted in the door? How are component speakers different? And what is the cost for the same? In case its not possible to remove the default speakers form the door...is it possible to add 2 new speakers on the rear tray?

2. Looking for a medium budget sub woofer and 4 channel amp...A bit better than the Sony exploid. Please suggest. Budget for speaker and amp is approx 13k.

3. Asta also comes with a 2 DIN music system. How is this music system compared to somethin like a Sony exploid? This could be amatuerish but this is the first time I'm goin for a company fitted system. Kindly suggest.

first servicing experiance with my swift

hi guyz

i am with done my first servincing on 17 th nov

so im sharing my experiance with you gurus

total time taken by pathetic service guys :--8hours

total service charges they took frm me ------106RS

issue fixed -

1) my heart broken cluth plate burning issued is sorted out

they examined the cluth and they told only 3-5% burning ie there its normal as you are new driver no need to panic (its a very relaxing moment for me as it is my first car and dont wanna be like things happend to my sweet heart.)

2)-rattle sound from front left shock-ub----

they change bush and front component of the shock-ub but i think problem is stil there

today wen i drove my car again i feel the same sound coming from front left shock-ub.

if anyone faced the same problem then pls let me know what are the root causes of this problem.

they also said to me there is no need to change oil as my odo on 822km .

i chked my car carefully for ASS scratches but no ass scratches will be there.

i feel like i am 50% satisfied with there service because wen ist i went to showroom i recived

lot of Warm welcome from salesguyz but now situation has been changed only service manager is there for me with a mechnic . no Warm welcome no TEA/coffee offered by them only tap water.

so guyz this is the whole story pls comment if you like

Dual Tone Interiors on Punto

Planning to change my existing dual tone shade with Black & Beige. But before doing so, I thought of having few options to look at it. And here's few I came up with, I know it's personal choice when it comes to select interior colors but I'm just randomly requesting for your suggestions. Just wanted to make sure that I should not regret later, Please have a look and suggest :).

I have i-20 magna with a factory fitted music system. I have a query. Does this system support DVD/Rewritable CD/Blue-ray disc/DVD with double layer ?

FIAT LINEA selling on a premium

now,it's official that fiat has called for a premium of rs.5000 for it's linea cars in FTA color,its not a premium demanded at the dealer end,but from the company.the last time any car was sold on a premium(to my knowledge)was maruthi800,17 years back,so after nearly two decades another car is sold on a premium

besides this,FIAT has increased the price of LINEA thrice, in 6 months,this at a time all the other manufacturers slash the prices and linea commands a waiting period of more than a month when fiestas and vernas are available off the shelf

so for all the noises made wondering if FIAT was really doing well for all the noises made(fiat never made a noise,no advt on tv or papers for more than 20 days),this should be the answer

CNG in Estilo or wagnoR

what should be the tyre pressure for ritz ldi?as company mentioned 33 for front n 36 for rear..but genererally people say it should 30 for front n 33 for rear...

Is ABS disadvantage in stop and go traffic ?

I heard somewhere that ABS cause the brakes to be hard even for low speed breaking.
ie., they work effectively(only when pressed hard) even when you are going in Slow city traffic.

Is it true ?

Does that mean ABS can cause leg pains when driving in a lot of Stop and Go Traffic ?

The Smart Car, is really a crowd pulling concept. Just 2.5 m in length which makes it readily parkable almost anywhere and everywhere. These smart cars are known for their in built advanced features, most common of which is its hybridized engine yet price afford ability at the same time. One pf the primary objectives of these smart cars was also to be one which could accommodate two persons at the most with a case of beer.

The US market greeted the concept happily, they call themselves the smart guys at work and now on the road too.

Was happy when Tata almost such a concept for India, far better when they added an advantage of low price tag, but when i drove the Nano i remembered travelling on the rickshaws.

But one thing's true..! We can pray for the Smart Car for India but only once our roads get better ... far better. With the kind of roads over here in Kerala, we can find a smart car crying for help in one of our potholes.

i am using ford fusion tdci since from 2 years, before that i was using maruti zen petrol it was very smooth to drive i like to enjoy driving in that car.But my question is in fusion tdci its pick-up is verylow & i have to keep on changing the gear in bangalore traffic,its maintenance is very high.So i request u to give some tips for buying diesel cars in future because i am already confused in petrol/diesel my daily running in city is 60-75kms & long drive is 500-700kms & also i need legroom comfort because my ht.5.11".which car would u suggest me?

Pathetic roads of Cochin!

Great that Cochin corporation is providing off-roading experience for all of us. The condition of certain roads in the name of some freedom fighters and renowned humanitarians are so pathetic that i've often heard people cursing the Mahatmas.

Maintenance of roads is once in a blue moon, the traffic signals are at wrong places, the roads aren't wide enough, the police men don't have any clue about Issue Management. The city has one of the most slowest traffic.

Its high time we kochiites react! Its high time the Corporation show some respect to the tax payers..

Wondering how digital PR can be used as a strong tool for raising citizens demand in fron of the govt. Hope this thread goes live supporting this cause..

Urgent help needed, Buying Safari

I am planning to buy a 2006 TATA Safari VX 4x4, It has 36,500 kms and the person selling is second owner, I had it checked with mechanic and he says vehicle is in good condition, can anyone tell me what is the best price i can pay, the person selling is asking 5.5 lks.

Also i heard lot of bad reviews of owning safari and my freinds are also against it complaining it as a high maintainence vehicle, Can anyone give suggestions on the price to pay and things to look forward after owning a safari. thanks in advance.

Hi guys,Recently got drooled over seeing Projector headlights in few cars running on delhi roads.

In a bid tosave money and invest it in a beautiful way i thought of inquiring about the best places to look for the following things required for my DIY for my projector headlights retrofitment project[LOLZ-i am so elated,PROJECT!]

1.Projector headlight units[From BMW/MERC/SKODA scraps]

2.XENON bulbs for the Projectors.[new]

3.HID kits -Philips or other best available new kits with a approx. cost.

4.Shrouds/bezels.

5.Angel eyes.[CCFL types]

I understand that there might be only few replies on this but do feel free to contribute,it might save me huge money considering the Shipment options presently available from couple of sources in US and Australia which are good but priced high.
