Hid lights can be fitted on any car, they have better features and benefits than regular halogen lights, check http://indiatechnews.com/gyan/autos/cars/hid-xenon-lights/ for more details on the Xenon lights....  Just make sure you  buy a branded kit though with a projector type lens so that the light stays low and focussed

hi everyone

i was wondering to fit hid lights for my i20. i would like to know its size and is it a worth buy. What would be its prizes.

guys i need helpCry

Hi,

For i20, the following is the best option for the High Visibility during the dayt-time  and Show-Off during the evening time

  • Decorative LEDs inside the light with Smoking and Polishing done (DRL)
  • Angel Eyes with super intensity light for evening time. (also visible during daytime)
  • HID Kit for the night driving time both for Head Lights and Fog Lights (6000K recommended)

The total cost for this should be approx Rs 12000/- for all items.

I think HID is best optionbecause finding normal white light is difficult.

But if you find one then you can put. But also colour is varie in big extend...

so I prefer HID of same grade is the best.

I HAD BUYED HID last year in Jan09 FOR MY WAGON R IN Rs.4700-00 High Low Beam with 6 month warranty for Delhi based Mfr. of auto parts named SRI AUTO. The Kits are working very fine and it failed the lights of Skoda, Audi, Bmw . I have seen the add in ebay.in also in bcm touring.com the peoples are buying from them they had even failed the philips HID lights.

Well I dont think that a mere HID kit can fail the lights of a Skoda, Audi or a BMW bacause of a simple fact that these vehicles use  projector headlamps which give a straight beam on the road and donot create nuisance for the other drivers...

But yes, if you are talking in terms of the GLARE PRODUCED, then I agree that the HID kits can bear the lights of Audi etc. But this should be considered a disadvantage rather than an Advantage.

Check this out.

Maruti Esteem

The pic is taken from the inside of a Maruti Esteem fitted with  Custom Made Projector Head Lamps ...

See the difference.?
