i was wondering to fit hid lights for my i20. i would like to know its size and is it a worth buy.What would be its prizes.

I found this on the net.

HID stands for high-intensity discharge, a technical term for the electric arc that produces the light.

HID headlamp bulbs do not run on low-voltage DC current, so they require a ballast with either an internal or external ignitor

Hiiii,

I put HID light BiXenon & HID halogen to its superb you feel quiet good,

I put Baiche & Philips light.

Go to a good accesories shop and fixet it 6000K for head lights minimum.

3000K for helogen

Does it have any impact on the Warranty ? If I'm not wrong, installing HID will void warranty on Electricals.

The light is indeed birght when compared to the yellow light bulbs...

Here is the "catch'',We see things around with our eyes due to the light that is reflected back by the objects...

The problem with these bulbs is that the moment you look at them,they seem bright,but when you try seeing objects in their light its more or less a pain.

Due to this charachteristics it has earned its unpopularity amongst car enthusiasts who believe in safety and standards...

I dont find them funky enough to risk our and someones life on road...

hiii...aruja its price for 6K is Rs.7500 and 3K is Rs.5000. its spread is quiet good.

I put this light in my brand new i20,

for your information its not void any warrenty because I confirm befor puting this lights.

and yes the lights good on dark road but the effect is less if there is high vellow lights in

the street.

did you put hid's in the fogs also,if you did what was the total cost including headlights and fogs

Side light  Rs.200

Fog Lamp set Rs.3000

Hid Light        Rs.5000

Total Rs.15700/-

LED lights Rs.6000/-

Also I put some ambiance light inside the car.
