      do u feel there would be any difference - rear door vs. parcel shelf?  i would hav loved to use your speaker choice but adding cost of HU would overshoot my budget. so i have to check something a little cheaper.

And Ami suggested that rear speakers are not very important.Ordinary will do

So i suggest u to go for good speakers in the front and ordinary speakers in the rear

Bhardwaj rightly said, having parking sensor on Punto will be quite helpful. As my experience so far while parking Punto, specially in reverse mode is quite tricky. One has to be extra extra careful...while doing so!

I'm also thinking to install on my car. But looking arnd for red colored sensor..as black will look too odd on bumpers.

Will be booking the car sometime in the next couple of weeks. I am looking at buying the 1.3 Dynamic. My fiancee is having the choice of the color since I had the choice of the car . I have told the dealer(s) that I would want to see a blue dynamic when I come there for booking. My main concern is with the black OVRM and door handles.

I did ask the dealer and he told me that for 5K, both these would be painted to the car color. Honestly, is the higher Punto models OVRM and door handles nothing but the same ones with them being colored??? . I am not too sure about this.

And yes, I have heard that Black is hard to maintain as well. But my friend has a black Wagon-R which he bought second hand. After one year, I don't see him having a hard time maintaining the car. So not sure about this as well. If it was not so hard, even I would go for a Black Dynamic.

I just wanted to know, since Dynamic does not come with music system. I just hope that the warranty does not become void when I fit a music system. Also, what about front speakers? Where is the best place to fit them?

Front and Rear Speaker provision is provided in the front and rear door itself by Fiat.

accessoreis: 3M sun film-rs.1600, under chasis coating-1800-00, reverse sensors rs.3700-00 IND-No. plate of rs. 1600-00 got it done at dealer.

polk audio speakers 4+2, sony 4channel amp rs.22500-00, PU body coatingrs. 3500-00, art leather seat covers rs.6500-00 , halogen bulbs rs.2200-00 got it done with my regular known person.

kindly, ask the technician to connect the amp to ignition key, other wise the battery discharge problem takes place, same is happened to me. polk audio of back speakers behind backseat ply. 

polk audio  front speakers size is 61/2" model db6501 with component and splitter Rs.7500-00

polk audio back speakers of 6" x 9" db 691  Rs. 7500-00.

amp sony 600 4 channel rs. 5800-00

plus, entire new wiring with efx make,back wooden flank, front  door acoustic and labour charges Rs.2000-00.

Colour Silver.Taking the delivery on 19 of september as there are no auspicious days in betweeen.

     u are going for a diesel , i also was inclined towards the 1.3, but later changed my mind as i would not be going on long trips much.

Regarding the ORVMs, in the last 3-4 days, i was just thinking whether i want to check for another color (just a thought) and asked my bil in blore whether i could get them painted to the color of the car, he said the door handle may be made of plastic so the finish might not be as expected. Anyways, he may be right or wrong, i dont know. But it was just a silly thought , in my heart i already had fixed the HIP HOP BLACK . Try to google around if you want to check for some thing other than black, im sure u might find something regarding this. i am going to make the final payment tomorrow, ill ask the dealer and let u know.

           So regarding the rear speakers, i have to decide on the 2 options ( door/shelf). ok .will check.

During the test drive, i had asked the sales executive about dynamic (initally i thought i would go for emotion), he said even though music system is absent , wiring would be present in the car, just need to hook up the speakers to the connectors. My question is , being a casual music listener that i am, do i need to change the wiring as suggested in different posts here?

That would be a great help if you can ask the dealer about painting the OVRMs and the door handles. Well try finding pics of a Dynamic / Active, blue color. I could not find one man .

I will try to call the dealer here and get you info regarding the wiring for the music system.
