Security System for Swift LXi

Hi there, needed help choosing a security system for my Swift LXi - Just remote locking with key sensor and basic pressure point alarms. Not looking for a gear lock as the vehicle is company fitted immobilizer and stering lock.

I have reviewed the options of Xenos,Nipon, Piranha and Autocop all priced in the 3.5 - 4k range - but cannot decide which one is compatible and will have minimal issues with a good service network backing.

Dealer suggests Piranha a product of Autocop as the service is good priced at 3400

His next choice would be Nippon at 3600.

I am undecided as I am also looking for a product which wont void the warranty because I am told by Maruti Call center that so long as wires are not cut and joint warranty stands good.

Go for Xenos, It has life warrenty , water-proof and good service network as well. It would ideally suits for swift. My cousin also installed the Xenos for his swift, till now no issues reported.

Xenos 250 FW (costs 4.8k). It is feature rich, the following features are very useful

Strereo protection

Reverse beep on/off

door open reminder

auto lock if the unlock accidently

sounds good will definately give it a check - since most systems face problems in the monsoon, the water proof will be a great advantage over other products out there.

My suggestion is ...check first what are the provisions already available in vehicle for alarm system and which brand has the compatible products..it is no use having life time warranty or rich features etc..etc..if it is not at at all compatible with vehicle electricals..I believe only Autocop and Nippon are suitable for Maruti Swift...You can confirm with the experienced technicians at Maruthi workshop..
