Planning to buy Aveo 1.4lt

I will not go in the requirement part and comment only on the car.

The car is good on build quality (which is excellent), looks, stability. Mileage is also OK. Space is also good.

Coz of the build quality, it will be a good bet for long term use.

Performance - is good enough - but not breadthtaking.

If you keep the car for say 6-7 years (it will be easily good for the time), you will get the moneys worth - otherwise, the resale value will drop immediately in case of Chevy cars.

3 years maintenance package you get will be also worth a good option - considering cost of service to be Rs.3000/- minimum 3 times a year - which will be Rs.27,000/- in 3 years.

But, in this price range, you will also get Verna Petrol / Fiesta Petrol / SX4 / Linea petrol.

SX4 is worth considering - coz its a large car and further, Maruti service / resale factors.

my monthly usage is limeted to 300-400km/month. and i generally use my cars for 5-7 yrs so resale value not a problem.

secondly one i wanted to confirm that is GM 3 years maintenance package is for all their cars or jst spark my dealer says its only for spark.CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS THING.

WHAT DO U SAY ABOUT THE PRICE OF THE CARS  THAT DEALER IS OFFERING ME ie 679000 after 30000 discount.

i fell car is absolutely good that is my personal view feel better than maruti cars ......

Dont worry for mileage. Your run is not substantial to worry enough for mileage.

Aveo has the best built quality, best interiors in its price range.

Go for it.

Approach other dealers and see where you get more discounts. I feel they should be offering discounts to the tune of 50000-70000/-.

If the dealer dosent agree for discounts, ask for the free maintenance for 3 years, etc.
