When can we expect Maruti Wagon R with K Series Engine

Does anyone know when can we expect Maruti Wagonr with K series engine?

Well no news yet ... there are 2 possibilities though ...one, due to the make over plan maruti may also change the engine in Wagon R soon, we might hear a news in 1-2 months ...second, unlike estilo (old) the Wagon R is still in good demand and is selling well. Hence company might not do anything with it any sooner.

These are my speculations only. No concrete evidences  

Yes, Wagon R is in good demand. But they have to change all its engines to Euro4 standard from April 1, 2010.

Only K series engines are following that. So it is sure that they will change this to K Series. But need to know when. I am planning to buy a Car. My choice was between Wagon R and K series. 

Last day I had a 150 km drive in Wagon R and I felt that it is not so good for long drive because I am not sure about the performance of its suspensions. The car which I used was also in good condition and was less than 1 year old.

My friend in Maruti Showroom says, A star is good choice for long drive as its suspensions gives you a smooth drive for long journeys. I had a test drive and I felt comfortable with that too.

Only issue with A star may be it is not as spacious as WagonR. I like the space and seating in WagonR.

A star is not as cramped in the back seat as it seen in reviews. Yes it is not that much spacious. Me and my friend were sitting in the back seat and we felt comfortable. ( all of us were more than 5 ft 10)

So I am a bit undecided about WagonR and A star. That is why I am waiting for the K series of WagonR. Somebody was telling , we can expect that by October- November.. not sure though

Please let me know if anybody has some relevant informations.

Well If you are okay with the space issue in A-star then it will be a good choice to go for ... it's ride, FE , AC and drivability is superb ....
