If you are close to Malad West on Link road there is a small shop it goes by the name of some Arts(not sure) that has lots designs and reasonibly priced

Its few shops away from the Honda Bike showroom on Link Road next to Correa Garrage

I got both plates in on transparent Vinyl with a photoluminicent white background for 450 with the plastic holder for the front plate(simmilar to the ones seen on Honda Accords)

You can customize your font and the most expensive embossed aluminum plates are for about 650

the ones that have the back LED not just on the top but all around the plate is for 1100

A word of caution...ensure the number plates and the fonts are as per RTO guidelines. Incase caught you may have to shell out fine upto Rs 500/- for fancy number plates. Mumbai is specially strict in these matters.

Those who claim that they know everything do not know what they dont know.

Better still, go get one high security number plate as per The rules transport dept is going to enforce nation-wide. There are a few designated vendors for these high security number plates, and tho design is fixed - nothing to think or choose there. Totally RTO compliant, fixed in half an hour, and plate+fixing costs about Rs. 1k.

I am going to get it done once I can breathe a bit easy (1k, discretionary spending..), as my original numberplate is wearing at edges (tape getting peeled off).
