Im planning to buy a new small car,

it should have a good looks as well as economy and comfort.

Maruti Suzuki 800 and Alto are the best milage giving small cars having small engine displacement also.

New Chevy Spark 800cc is coming in start of 2010. with and without LPG kit and beige interior. Around package of 1.9 ex.show room.

So what do you say friends. should i wait for it or for what should i go as a small economic car ?

A spark 800 cc would be exactly Matiz spec... I would imagine this to be much more fun than MS Alto... But a bird in hand is worth two in the bush, as the saying goes...

Noooooo, no Nano. this car meets all safety standards at ARAI. but what do you say abt it, if we drive Nano with family ( parents ) on highway. and unfortunately we met an accident ????

Alto and Spark are still far safer than Nano.

and ofcourse... TATA car quality..... a shit.

Hey Aby baby....

Watch out for off-the-cuff remarks on TATA quality... there will be daggers drawn from die hard TATA lovers (particularly Vista owners)...

We can objectively discuss what is good or bad about TATA car quality, particularly with respect to Nano, if desired. But no explosive remarks like this please.

Take it as a request. Thanks!

Ahh...perhaps I should flush my truck down the toilet, then.

Before you write off the Nano completely I suggest you visit a showroom and take a look.  Its been a pleasant surprise in many respects, including a very un-Tata-like attention to detail in the finishing department.
