Anti lock Brakes (ABS)

Hello All,

I am Jayadeep from Cochin. I own a Swift VDI 2008 model. SInce i was unsure about the significance of ABS in Car's and also due to the fact that there was artificial demand for Swift VDI with ABS at the time when i purchased my car i opted not to go with ordinary Swift VDI. Recently when i read these valuable reviews i feel sorry for myself not going for the one with ABS model.

My question for all of you is, Is there a way to implement ABS system from any private manufacturers in India. If so how much will be the cost and what are the best Companies to go for.

I am not an automobile expert and sincerely appreciate your suggestions and will be greatful to all of you for the support. Thanks in anticipation.

not too sure on this.but i guess u can try bosch.infact most manufacturers use their ABS systems(among many other components) on their cars.not too sure about the cost too.let us know ur luck in finding one.

im jus checking out bosch's site.one of my friend says that it is possible to equip ur car with ABS as an aftermarket fitment.will get back to at the earliest soon.

Far too many things to change to make this happen - but anything IS possible given sufficent motivation, money and time.
