Need Help on Teflon coating

Hi all,

I called dynamic motors in chandigarh, they provide 3M services the price they quoted are

2000 Anti rust

3500 tefflon coatin.

Should i go for this or just anti rust is enough..please let me know i tried searching other forms but didnt get any help by those....bt got more confused cause in many threads...other carwale member say that tefflon is not necessary for the car..plz help...Chevrolet Spark

Anti rust is a good(or must) have.

Teflon can be avoided if the car will be standing in sun for long.

i always park my car on roadside so it means no need to go for tefflon

Rohit, try 3M Paint Protection Treatment. If you are very particular about teflon coating, go for original DuPont's.

i live in chandigarh n dont knw from where i can go for this teflon coating......i asked this proce from chevrolet dealer dynamic motors..dupont's is any other company like 3m

Ok i git it...bt still m in gr8 confusion that should i go for teflon or just anti rust treatment is enough...

@Rohit: Teflon coatings tend to develop cracks if the car is parked in sun for long on a regular basis.

OMG......m doing some googling right now...n i also read that there is no need for antirust treatment on new car for atleast 5yrs.
