Hi All

My new toyo innova will be on road with in few days, Its GX-7 seater Diesel. Please adivce me the following quires;

1. Should I opt alloys from show room or outside..? If outside how they are deal with warrenty..? how the track record of Innova's wheels defects, like damage of wheel bearings, alignment changes, breaking and skidding..?

2. What about the other accessories from show room, few of the car shoppers are insisting to purchase from them, from them "quality of accessories from show room and outside are same" is that true..?

3. Mounting of electrical/electronic accessories - should i prefer to fit in show room or outside expert..?

4. Over all, any one having innova GX, please advice me personally how the overal rating after altering type size to 17"..?

Congratulations on your new ride.

First and foremoest a word of precaution - any major (esp electrical) changes you make on your car within the warranty peoriod will cause you to lose the warranty on your car. Now the other side of this coin is that many times the dealer says that if you get the changes done from him you will not forfeit the warranty. SO get these things cleared from him.

Accessories are always cheaper outside than at dealer outlets. You get more range in the same price in many accessory shops. Toyota is always known to have made quality production and this is evident from the fact that we still have the 1st gen qualis running on the raods inspite of the odo haveing clocked more than 2 lac kms. SO do not worry about that for now. Just take your ride and enjoy it.
