Please tell me which is best among swift vdi, fiat grande punto 1.3 Dynamic Diesel and ford ikon 1.4 DuraTorq TDCi, on the

Following aspects

1. Manitence cost

2. after sale service

3. Driving comfort

4. Features

5. Fuel efficiency

 

I am livening in chennai, I will drive my car around 60km a day, i have heard

In case of ford: service is not good, and spares also costly, Ac is not good engine hot air is coming through ac

 

In fiat: engine noise is high, I am not sure how will be after sale service and cost spare parts comparatively

 

In case swift:

No offer in it's price or accessories and I need to wait 45 days (if it is really worth I am ready to wait)

HI Smartbooy... welcome to Carwale Forums.

Looks like swift is a better choice given that you are ok with little cramp rear seats (Good for 2). Waiting period is long but its worth it. Swift has a peppier performance and is a pleasure to drive. Swift diesel also has good FE.

Swift will performence  better than ikon & punto,In ikon you'll have advantage of more boot space & having a sedan. punto is a new car looks fresh and good, has the same enigne which is in the swift.

1. Manitence cost - best swift (maruti)

2. after sale service - best maruti

3. Driving comfort - swift's driving position is good (i love it)

4. Features - are almost the same(the versions mentioned you) by  but ikon doesn't have Immobilizer. You can check        this  link   go through specs,features,allfeatures

5. Fuel efficiency- I think all are more or less same but ikon has an edge.

 

Fords ASS is getting better and price of the  parts is also getting cheaper

In comparisom to swift the parts of other two cars are costlier. 

Punto has the best ride quatity.
