Which is the best Insurance Company?

In terms of Low Premium

And in terms of Fast and smooth Claim settlement?

I have heard that the cheapest Insurance is provided by Relaince? Is it true? What about the Claim Settlement part?

Most of the insurance companies are good & offer premium rates & services quite competitively.  Currently Bajaj Allianz, ICICI Lombard, Tata AIG, IFFCO TOKYO are the leading ones.  Try & negotiate/compare.

Newer companies like Iffco-Tokico offer cashless claims, while the older ones like United India Assurance dont.

My personal experience says Bajaj Allianz is very good when it comes to claim settlement. Yes, I had availed cashless claim from them, and the processing and other related things are hassle free.

Not really.  Not that I disagree but, as stated before, insurance companies are good & offer premium rates & services quite competitively. The ones who have more transparency are the leaders.

Hello Pankaj & all,

My car insurance renewal is due now. Upon checking the premium rates with UI, Bajaj & Reliance, there are lotz of differences while on their quotation & it is varying upto 40%.

Though I am tempting to the lowest quoter Bajaj, somewhere I have apprehention that any hidden policy guidelines may hit later. Is it possible what are all the major points I need to take care while renewing the same.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jay

Jay, avail it from Carwale - I had done some preliminary enquiries, and they are very transperant about all the process and have the best premium rates going. My next time insurance is going to come from them...

Bajaj Allianz is one of the leading companies.  Others (listed before) are also good.  The difference of 40% in the premium is quite high (to my understanding).  Check the package/coverage & the terms/conditions.  The option stated by Krishna is also good.

By the way, if you wish to look at various aspects already discussed (elsewhere), have a look at this thread & the links provided therein.
