I bought a a Quadrajet Vista Aura. And I can definetly say, I & my wife (she is a new driver) enjoy its drive. Pickup is good, best space + lux. Features are very sensible and usuable. Too good car. Good for tall people as well.

@ Centaur: Thanks for sharing info.

Infact last week I went to the Tata/Fiat dealership to check both Vista & Punto closely. We have 2 cars at home and somehow running of both the cars is too much, Fiesta is okey but in 18 months 25000 kms from Spark is costly(Running cost though mileage I am getting is around 14kmpl in city) so just thinking about diesel one.

Actually I like both Vista & Punto but Vista is definitely more spacious & VFM. There is not much rear space in Punto. Price difference is too much with Vista Limited edition 5.63 lacs on-road V/s Punto's top model 6.48lacs on-road.

@Gaurav: Congratulations Gaurav for your new Car. Vista is a very good car. Do share your buying experience and tell us about the performance of the car (specially a.c.).

Happy & Safe motoring!

Yesterday I found water below the footmat of front left seat ,it was drenched, also the area below the footmat of Front right was a little moist. I have took it to Techno Automobiles Workshop in DElhi and they have opened everything in dashboard. Till now They say that the AC pipe was bent and that was the reason water leaked inside the cabin floor on left side.

BUt I do not agree.. Below footmat, there will be an Iron sheet and below that the AC pipe will run, even thought Pipe was bent/faulty water shud not come inside floor. Else If I took my car in rainy season in water logged area, my car cabin floor will get wet.

Apart from that , the cooling was good and almost like my company Indica cab. Mechanics in workshop say that the company has purposefully made AC very normall, unlike in old car where it used to real chilll

Will write again after somehours, need to recive the car from workshop.

Do you the email ID for technical support for Tata Motors ?

Thx,

Gaurav Prakash

Congrats Gaurav for the buy! Happy Motoring!

Does the water flows out smoothly through the AC drain pipe? Normally if there is a block or leakage in the drain pipe the floor mats gets wet. And IMO there is no need for opening the dashboard completly, just opening the bottom most part is enough for rectifying the problem.

But in that case, in all probability the driver's side should also get wet (first).

Yes it should.

I think the drain pipe is on the left side as I could notice the water draining out on the left side bottom of the car (under the central console area).
