Punto on the Roads

I liked the Punto's design, took the TD and almost finalised to buy my first car.

Its been a month since the launch of Grande Punto. It has made a wave in hatchback segment, at least, in every forums. Its a successful car in Europe, has got a 5 Stars of Safety etc etc......

But, why it is not seen on the Roads yet... At least I've not seen a single Grande Punto with Registered No. Plate.

Any idea?

yes friend,even my linea was delivered only after 6 weeks of booking,so it will take another 4 weeks to be seen on road

Today I got the news that the delay is because of 'RTO Clearance'. It took them 22 days to 'clear' the papers.  Any doubt about our becoming SuperPower by 2020 or 2050 or 5050 ......!!!!!!!!!!

I am seeing RED Lovly Punto parked near my house since last 2 days with Mumbai Registration .... I am sure you will start seeing them soon on road..

Hummmm.... Sounds music to ears... May b in coming weeks, same will happen with me.

Its 31st August now, and I have not seen one single Punto on road in Mumbai till date . Nitin have  you finally got the Punto? Can you share your experience on the same.

I've seen 5-10 puntos in Hyderabad and 2-3 in my short visit to Mumbai.

RTO clearance depends on the dealers and how they push it.

While coming to office today, saw the first Punto Emotion. Could not make out if this was the 1.4 Fire / 1.3 Diesel.

The blue one that I saw looks great!!

Yes I've started seeing it in Mumbai now. And Yes boss Blue looks absolutely terrific.

Good to hear that Nitin. I will post information regarding any (free) accessories that I will get, as and when I book the car and keep you posted.You also let me know regarding this.
