yes,iam a proud owner of linea, active version, yes,it has a space for music system to be fitted, ive fitted one,its wired already too, just have to connect the speakers and HU,about why i bought the active version,it was not about being cheaper alone, the door inserts in other variants had beige color and it was fabric as well, would get spoiled easily,in the active version, its black plastic which can be washed off easily, only the hand rest is beige

Thanks Bala for the quick reply. I believe when you said wired you mean that there were sockets ready and the wiring was done already for the speakers ??? Only the HU and the Speakers ahve to be put inside??Right?

Another thing was the antennae attached to the roof before in your active model?

By the way which HU are you using?? Is it fit flush with the AC and the other controls? Looks Good ?? Please post some pictures!

hi ranjan, yeah, its completely wired, till the door pads, only got to connect speakers and Hu,yeah, its flush with other controls in the central console, looks neat,i have a pioneer 2150,it looks neat, you should go for a higher model though, since you would get more out puts for connecting amp, etc,no,i havent connected an antenna, thought it would be difficult to put on the car cover then, also i dont live in chennai,so FM reception is out of question, happy motoring, keep us posted

Thanks for the quick and informative response Bala.

So the Active and may be the dynamic base version also doesnot come with the antenna. Now I think it will be a good choice to go far a model which doesnot have the Player fitted...this way we can the ICE as per our choice and may be cheaper and with more features too.

I am now thinking to buy the Dynamic base verison.

One thing I observed in the Dynamic Pack version is that though it is metioned in the brochure that there are rear Foot level Ac vents there were no AC vents in the rear. Bala can you confirm this??? Any inputs???

Yell One thing which my friend Adviced is to not to buy aFiat..since they may create problem later on if the company doesnot meet its sale goals. He gave me example of the LML Adreno Bikes. There is no support for the Bikes nowadays it was a good VFM bike in the begining. He also said that many old Fiat Owners also faced the same problems.... They will face problems regarding Sapres etc......Now this has made me thinking. Any Advice??Undecided

hi ranjan, about the AC vents,no,there is no rear AC vent in dynamic version at knee level, its present only in the emotion variants, the AV vents that the company mentions at foot level is present though, though ive not checked it myselfLaughing, about fiat's plans in INDIA,its very much safe, you would be knowing that the plant at ranjangoan, maharashtra produces both fiat and TATA cars, its a 50-50 venture,so TATA is always there, havent you seen 12 year old FIAT UNOs plying on the road comfortably,if spares are available for UNO why not for LINEA??,we should always buy a car that we like and not what our friends advice, besides INDIAN market is not the only one fiat manufactures car for,its already exporting palios to south africa,in my experience if we buy a car with our heart it never gives us a problem, example was my cielo a decade back which never necessiated a spare part change for 8 years and if we buy a car which others suggest, example my swift,it gives a hell a lot of problem from day one and we loose our peace of mind which happened

no ranjan,no freebies,i had booked within a fortnight of launch,so no chances, about FIAT,it's the 5th largest automible manufacturer in the world, while HONDA is only the seventh,so your friends comparision of fiat with LML is little unjustified, besides this is almost the same engine that does the duty in indica vista, swift, dzire, ritz,so even a street mechanic should be able to fix a problem when necessary and btw did you know that the service interval is a huge 15000 km,because of the selenia oil used,so its not necesassary to visit the service station in between, spares are the chaepest among all C segment cars, about FIAT INDIA again, did you know that last month it sold more cars than even a FORD???,despite the later having atleast 5 times the number of sales and service outlets, did you know again that since launch LINEA is selling in more numbers than SX4.fiesta,verna and logan, only ANHC and dezire sells in more numbers, again friend LINEA is a D segment car for C segment price,

btw,where is navsari,vapi????,which state???,just curious.take care

Thanks Bala , You have cleard many of my doubts. So Will go for Linea Petrol Dynamic base version. By the way the Bumpers in your Red Linea are of the same color as the body or are they  black in color?? Have you got central lock fitted in the vehicle as after addition? Any comments on this?

By the way I am based at Navsari, Gujarat. It is 45 Kms. from Surat. Navsari is famous for its Diamond polishing centeres And of Course there is DANDI, The place from where Gandhi ji Started his Salt March. It is about 20 Kms. from the main city. Vapi is an industrial town and is in Valsad District. Many major manufacturing companies are there.

BTW where are you from?

Thanks again. Will love to hear from you and do please keep me / us posted on the experience of your Linea.

Regards.

would selling my Honda city GXI ( fully laden with LCD,sub, etc) for a linea be a good idea taking into consideration the average,I am talking about the multijet models, for a travelling distance of about 4-5 km /day and an occassional drive of around 200 km ,once a month.

I do not have any problems with the care ,only the freebies in linea are more attractive.
