Body side moulding for i10

Hi all,

I thought of fixing Body side moulding on my i10 when i give it for first  service. I think it is useful in protecting the doors. Your suggestions pls.

Also can someone tell me how much that costs.

adding body side moulding is a good idea...

sorry hav no idea about cost.. but must not b too much...

i have magna (6days old) same color- blushing red...it already has side moulding...

Hmm.. Looking at the image, it doesn't strike me how would it help in preventing doors?

ohh.This is called body side moulding.i didnt kow the nomenclature.

For i10,it was around Rs 800.

But i hav heard people ki it comes out,Polish has to be done ..etc etc

It is called Side rubbing strips I guess (also).

Is that body coloured or the black one?

side moulding is never body coloured (so far in India- never seen one). Its always black (body coloured ones are more in rage abroad) . Not sure if they have started having body coloured ones here as well
