I guess the bigger and costly cars have them body coloured.

The other options is to take the black one and get it it painted. I've seen ppl do it.

@Prashant: This one mainly protect(Most of them not all) you against ppl who carelessly opens their doors and bangs it against yours. The front ones against the scratches(Most of them not all) that you get while turning.

It's a useful thing .... I have not recieved any scratches so far on my new one (Thanks God) ... however I came very close to getting it when I banged the door against my parking wall's corner... the side body moulding took the impact and my door remained unscratched... as Ami told it also helps in preventing damage when other careless drivers/people open their doors carelessly and bang at yours ... if not all, it can atleast reduce the possible damage ....

They can be bought and fixed by dealers at around Rs 1250 ...it would be cheaper outside by 200-300 rs.
