i20 Diesel and new 1.4 Petrol AT launched

As far as Indian market is concerned, Sathya is very very correct, 1.2 CRDi would have been a very intelligent weapon to deal with swift/vista and punto.

the 1.4 will drive out i20 of the underpowered tag that it has earned. the 1.4L is in a league where competition from other hatchs are less (13.L in the likes of swift, punto etc). The main competitors would be the ikons, fiesta and likes which are sedans. Now a prospective buyer will have to decide if he needs a sedan or the hatch
