Plastic quality of Ritz is not upto the mark. I have an i10 and felt clear difference looking at the door plastics, power window buttons etc...those is i10 are way superior and give a much better look/feel.

That aside, ritz appears to be a decent package.

how would having a seperate RPM meter reduce the manufacturing cost as you are gonna end up making everything thats setup in the console of other cars? Could you please elaborate on this?

Ritz and Swift have same engines but only for Diesel. In case of Petrol, Ritz has new K-series engine.

And in case of i10, Go for i10 kappa because base 2 models of i10 has older version (Epsilon 1.1 liter) engine.

Ritz is an extra spacios version of Swift. The engine is same as that of swift.Car is very spacious from inside and FE should around 12-14 in city (With AC).

This Car has a pretty good Leg Space and boot space as well.Interiors have been designed quite to similar to those of A-Star with an RPM Meter seperated out on the Dashborad. The rear look is kinda awkward to me but depends on what you feel about it.

i10 on the other hand has descent looks and is a great car undoubtedly. If you look comfort Ritz would be a better option if you dont mind with the rear looks.Foot in mouth

Not really so - The engine of Swift and Ritz is different in petrol version. Secondly, Ritz has the same leg space as that of the Swift - the only difference is the extra hieght that makes the RITZ a lot of more airy - That's all the difference - Infact, Swift has more shoulder room than the RITZ.

My personal preference would be the i10 because of high quality interiors, good build and finish, similar engine to the RITZ - the power and torque ratings, size and most aspects match spec to spec. But, i10 is 150 plus kilos lighter than the RITZ - hence it will be more zippy on the road and retyrn better mileage.

Having said that the suspensions of the i10 are of absolutely no match to those on RITZ - The real strength of the RITZ is it's suspension set-up - makes an easy work of the potholes and is very effective.

If you want looks, high build quality and a zippy car, go for i10.

If you want a car that has a smoother ride, better service network and you want to be distinct from others on the road - then the RITZ.

One flaw in the i10 is it has very poor headlamps - but you can get that upgraded later - no issues.

one more advantage for the Ritz will be the BS IV engine which is not available in other cars(swift, i10) so far

By looking at the comparison sent by centaur, I see that i10 magna 1.2 has got more features when compared to ritz. Only drawback that I find in i10 is the space issue. Price is also less when compared to ritz. The total on-road price of i10 magna 1.2 in bangalore is 4,60,821 and ritz is 4,90,704

Is i10 magna 1.2 the better option? shall i go with it?Undecided

Take TD of both and choose best option . Both are best products. TD is must.

Absolutely ...TD can change your view or clear your doubts ...do take your family along with you to judge their opinion and to check space issues...

i10 magna will be better than the ritz pertol in performance. The only place where hyundai will be lagging out a bit is ASS which is slightly lesser than Maruti. Apart from that the i10 will be a better car. Ritz has some issues with reverse parking as the view is not that good due to design. As mentioned by others do take a TD of both the cars and also try reversing the cars to see if you face any issues.
