okay,

And one more thing, i don't even think i can create a new thread.

So temporarily if you could open my thread "same car different fuel efficiency" under "report a problem" i could probably report a problem there, which is ofcourse an appropriate title for the matter.

Cheers

Here it is - in the section Maintain your Car.  The first post of mine (a) will be deleted.

@ Banwari, I just accessed an e-mail alert received through NDTV Auto.  Though the link took me to the thread concerned, I noticed I had been logged-out automatically.  This I have experienced before the recent upgrades too.

Please also look in to the matters reported by Rajiv, Karan, Kumar S... in this thread & do the needful suitably. Thanks.

I do like the new look no doubt, but i miss the familiar red of the carwale top banner which stands out and actually tied the logos red and black to the rest of the sites branding. The blue is a universally soothing color, but used by everyone out there, so once i have scrolled a bit, i loose the context that im on carwale, as many other forums out there have the formal blue, i have to either look at the header or scroll back to make sure im on carwale. But from a pure asthetic point of view, great job but from a branding perspective i will miss the red.

For god's sake can anybody help me how I can know that how many times my posted ad is been viewed. Kindly excuse my ignorance in this regard if I am little uneducated about the usage of features in carwale.com especially under My Carwale link. I have posted an ad for sale of my used Maruti Altura Baleno 2003 Model. But what is driving me mad is that I am unable to know whether I am really getting any potential hits for my posted ads. I am referring to hits not enquiry. So if anyone here is smart and seasoned user to this excellent planned car portal, it would be a great help. Thanx in advance. Happy driving to all !!!

Guys,

Thank you so much for the kind words.

@Rajiv, Karan et al

I think all the problems mentioned in the thread are solved. Please revert if not so.

@Rafi,

Thank you for admiring the red colour. We completely understand your views on branding part. It wasn't an easy task to replace red with blue. But it's done intentionally and has marketing/branding thoughts behind it. You will get to know as things unfold. Smile

@Kumar,

This is very much possible to implement the counter facility. Let me check with the team how soon can we implement it. As far as your concern to know how many hits your Altura has received, I think it should be there in the panel inside My CarWale. Maybe I will ask somebody to give you a call regarding this.

It's three months of hard-hunting but haven't been able to find a decent name for CarWale Forum. Can you help? Write to banwari at carwale dot com please. If we like your name, you will get a permanent credit for it in the community profile page. And a royal treat from me! ;~)

It was welcoming to see a fresh look CarWale when I got back from vacation. Kudos to the DEV team.

Thanks a lot for the the sticky. It will start making thigns quite easy. We should start making stickies for the various sections.

Small concern from my side: The shade of Blue used for 'Quote' 'Reply to this Thread' seems like a misfit. (Atleast to me). What does others have to say about it. ?

It matches well with the border & the blue layout (personal opinion).

Just noticed. The Text colour has changed to 'White'. It looks better now.
