On Honda Jazz price

Jazz is not offered in three variants as we normally perceive, like Lxi, Vxi and Zxi.  Jazz is offered as only ONE variant (Jazz Basic for Rs. 698,000, Ex-showroom, Delhi) with two optional package Active (Sports Package Rs. 7,33,000) and Mode (Family package, Rs. 7,28,000). 

The Jazz Mode comes with the Jazz Basic + the family package, which adds body side moldings, corner protectors to prevent parking scratches, mud flaps and funky lit-up garnishes on the side step. The Jazz Active comes with the Jazz Basic + sports package which adds sport pedals, body colored front grille, fog lamps and a smart spoiler at the top of the tailgate.

So, you can see,  there is no top end model for the Jazz, in the sense we have Ritz Zxi or Swift Zxi.  There Basic model is fully equipped.  If you buy top priced Jazz, i.e., Jazz Active, it will  not have Jazz Mode features.

How is Jazz selling? I have n't seen any Jazz on raod. I live in Pune.

Thanks for the info, Bharadwaj! I think Honda should definitely lower the price of Jazz is it is really serious. Probably they would I guess. There is no point selling a car in such low numbers.

I doubt they will lower the price.  Honda does not have the tendency to lower the price

I would say its still a good figure after seeing that exhorbitant price tag linked to it.

There's nothing wrong with Jazz except for the Honda India management team that decided to launch it in India

btw here in Mumbai interest rates for Jazz loans are 4.99%. Considering that broader interest rates will go up soon, for whoever that wants to buy this car-that-should-never-be-considered, this is the great opportunity.

Honda will either

- stop jazz

- come up with one that's 2L cheaper

- come up with a totally different car and call it jazz to convince people and (management) that jazz was a good plan

- come up with a completely different hatchback, one that's like i20 and costs like i20 (a little less on the high end maybe)

Jazz is so atrociously  priced people don't want to consider any of its 'features'.

Honda, please fire someone, change your agency, stop this product, whatever. Honda lives in India on city and civic. Just imagine they replacing the city team with the Jazz team. Packup time? Jazz will help.

I went to have a look at  jazz 3 months back when me and a friend were planning to upgrade from our earlier cars. We went to local dealership in a bike and they behaved like, me and my friend were not welcome there rather they were very interested to show the car to someone who gone there in a scorpio.

You know what ? the same day my friend booked a i20.
