Amit ,

Sales Figure of Jazz in June - 2030 . That is what Honda is expecting . So there will not be any discount in terms of rupee . May be they may add few features in existing model at same price.

@ Ashish Naik

You read the mind set of Honda India perfectly  Laughing

It appears that to be launched i20 1.4 L diesel is more powerful than Fiat 1.3MJD engine and have little more punch with better FE too.  I guess it will cost 80-90 K extra in comparison to petrol but will be worth it for extra luxury and safety features.

I really doubt the success of i20 diesel if it will be priced above 7 lacs on road. Simple reason is brand positioning . They have positioned themselves against Maruti & more importantly as a manufacturer who can produce car at affordable prices . When ever they had/ have positioned themselves against Honda , Skoda or others , they had/have failed. They don't have snob value.

So pricing will be very crucial for i20 diesel .

Ashish

Very rightly said ya ,if they don't have the snob value , they can't price it very high, and if they do so the sales will be scarcely low.

It is what we think we know already that often prevents us from learning.

I think it is neither  fair nor professional.  If people can TD  i20 CDRI, Hyundai must officially announce car price.  They can't sleep over price for ever.
