Problem faced in Indica Vista

Vista owners, kindly share your experiences on the problems faced and rectified in Vista.

These are the problems I'm facing in my Vista Aqua QJ after the first service. There is a big thud noise in the front left side and at the rear side when the car descends from a speed breaker. The noise in the front is also heard when it enters a pothole at >25kmph. I checked the rear wooden parcel tray, it was intact.

The clutch pedal have also become bit harder now.

Steering is not getting auto centered after turning.

What could be the reasons?

about the steering, might be a problem with the wheel alignment. get that checked.

Greenhorn, just did wheel alignment and balancing during first service.

The problems in my Vista QJD Aura :

1. Steering centering problem is inherent in all Vistas.

2. Had a CD muting problem - got the CD player replaced under warranty.

3. Low cooling of AC in hot conditions - not yet rectified

4. Front left power windows problem - rectified by replacing the motor unit

5. central locking problem - solved

6. Lot of beading & fit and finish problems cropping up now & then - being corrected as and when seen

7. Blower fan replaced under warranty

Anil, surprisingly there is no problem with the A/C in my Vista at present.

Sam did you check up thread after posting the reply or just left after clicking "Save" button. Sometime the problem happens due to slow network connection.

FRIENDS TILL NOW I CHANGED MY VISTA S MANY PARTS UNDER WARRANTY .I CANT IMAGINE FOR A BRAND NEW CAR CHANGING THESE MANY PARTS WITHIN 7 MONTHS(7500KM).I FEAR WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER 2-3 YEARS REALLY POOR QUALITY PARTS USED IN VISTAS,NOW ITS N WARRANTY SO NO NEED TO PAY THINK AFETR 2 YEARS O GOD NOW I REGRET TAKEN A TATA CAR PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE

TODAY I HAD TALK WITH SERVICECENTER MANAGER HE CONFIRM THAT ALL THE VISTA HAVE A/C PROBLEM BECAUSE OF THE DEFECT IN DESIGN OF DASHBOARD HE CONFIRM THAT AIR OUR IS GOOD FROM THE COMPRESSOR BUT BECAUSE OF THE POOR DESIGN
AIR NOT REACH IN THE CABIN FROM THE A/C VENT,

BUT NOW MY A/C IS JUST OK AFTER RPELACE OF BLOWER MOTOR

TODAY AGAIN-MY ALL POWER WINDOW SWITCH LIGHT NOT FUNCTIONING

                     DOOR CANT OPEN FROM INSIDE(NOT IN CHILDLOCK)

WAITING FOR NEW COMPLAINTS................VISTA SUCKS TATA REALLY CHEAT THE PEOPLE

Bad Luck Sam. Is it QJ or TDI?

My sister's Vista QJ Aura had clocked 16000km approx, no major issues till now. Yes it had small problems initially due to poor PDI by the dealer. After the second service at another TASC, no problems till now. Engine seems to be very smooth. It is a pleasure driving QJ. Looking at the performance I went for Vista QJ Aqua.

Power window switch problem was there initially, rectified by changing the switch under warranty. I think many of the cars in the initial lot had these problem.

The problem of opening the door from inside was there in both the cars. Seems like there is an adjustment behind the door pads. TASC people rectified it within 5 minutes. So it is not a major issue.

It's me who deleted all your posts - not once but 3-4 times.  Reason... each time you posted it all over.  If you wish to share/discuss, do it in the manner it is supposed to be - like others do.

steering problem is from day 1 it is not come in centre after turning.

is it for all vista ? or in my.

No other major problem.

yes i got mileage of 10-11 in city is it ok?
