I got my anti-rust done today at the Chevrolet dealership--3M--on underbody of my month-and-half old Spark.
Too late in the day to ask this question but did i rush into this too early? Opinions are divided on whether to go for this at all, and when. I did it because I want my car to be well protected from natural effects as far as possible, though in the North rains aren't an issue (waterlogging certainly is terrible in case of the odd downpour).
Also I was told the 3M spray treatment has a 7 year warranty and for that period i could keep getting the anti-rust paint coat inspected and touched up for free (from the same dealer of course). But i just realised after returning home that they didnt give me any warranty card to that effect--just the receipt for Rs 1630/-. Any thoughts on that please?
