Need your suggestions on a Double Din HU

Hi,

I am interested in buying a Double Din Head Unit for my car. I have very little knowledge in Car Audio.Could you suggest me on a real good system. I have a budget of 15K for the HU.

The dealer has suggested to me on Xplod™ CD Receiver - WX-GT77UI  and Pioneer FH-P6050UB and a JVC make for which i am not sure of the model number.

Also could you suggest me on what specs i need to look for on a HeadUnit.

I would suggest you to go for the JVC model as it has changeable display lights. (More Bells & Whistles)

Ami, how is the performance (SQ) of JVC compared to Pioneer? I hear Clarion HUs are also very good. What do you feel?

In the current 2DIN's(Available in India) its more or less the same.

hey i ahev heard that 2-din players are not detatchable.

is that true..?

cant you just take out its head like other single din players n keep in your handbag or so..?

what will it cost around. my nearby shopkeeper says that it will cost aroung 6.5k for kenwood. the player only. the speekers n stuff is additional.
