607/608 are component speakers. They have separate mids and tweets. They sound better than the normal speakers.

947 are oval co-axial speakers. They go on a tray at the rear.

Good prices for the audio accessories.

Engine immobilizer cuts the fuel supply to the engine if you try with a wrong key.

The think the deal is not bad.  Discounts etc. vary a little from area to area.  If you have another dealer locally, counter-check the discounts etc.  In any case, bargain hard for whatever maximum you can get.

Good deal from Hans.Insurance one is good.In Delhi, they hardly give it apart from ongoing schemes.

why the hell 14K additional discount...??

Check that gear lock should be from Hyundai i.e(manufactured by Autocop & also beige in color)

Spent 5K on the Security System named Hyundai Max.

When you are finalised with your quotations, you can always go & ask at Deep Hyundai,MGF,Hyhundai Motor Plaza.Check with these guys.

hey ...

the 14K discount was by competing dealers against each other

i told Hans hyundai that i was getting 14k from Deep so they also agreed to it

booked i10 era from mgf hyundai today....

the deal was same

insurance free

and 14K discount

but they are giving me a lot more accessories:

mud flaps

matting

gear lock(auto cop)

anti rust coating( lower body except silencer)

key less entry(auto cop)--basic one without any security features

car body cover   Cool

but now i am feeling why r they giving me so many accessories ...i checked with DEEp hyundai n they were also offering me the same deal as Hans hyundai....

can they be fooling me in any way??? Frown

when i asked for these accessories the sales eecutive said no but as we were abt to leave she went inside fr a little while and then agreed on the accessories if we booked the car today

and told us not to discuss the deal in front of other executives

i got all the accessories listed on the yellow card that they have while booking  but it's my first car so was just a bit suspective .... plz help i may cancel the check payment even nw  ...

No MGF is very big name for hyundai.

But the only thing i wonder about keyless entry. How can it be fitted in Era.

It only comes factory fitted.m sure u r not confused with the remote central locking.

With Keyless Entry, just one button opens the door & ignition.

If its the remote central locking ask if u pour little money then can they give you Hyundai Max(it has immobiliser functionality). It must be around 5K.

Thanx kartik

ya......   it's remote central locking

wht would autocop remote central locking cost so i know how much extra to pay for  max security system  ?

read somewhere tht even genuine car owners sometimes run into problems with Max and other security systems and manual locks like gear lock are much bettr...so is Max actually needed ??? could use tht money for ICE.....even heard tht anti theft device is also being given for free with Bajaj insurance ...will ask the dealer for tht also..

One more thing,, is anti rust coating required in delhi(heard it's needed only in humid areas)

or i could ask them for cash benefit in lieu of anti-rust coating  ??

already exceeded my budget by opting for i10 instead of earlier decided santro .. so looking to save whatever money i canMoney mouth

THANX>>>

Yeah,Bajaj Anti theft Device would come handy. As it's free. Its the immobiliser one.But plz make sure to ask the diff between the bajaj & Hyundai Max.

Wont think that u cud get some amount of cash in lieu of anti rust coating.

I havenot yet done on my i10.

But i heard here only from Krishna & others that dont wait for something to happen & then apply anti rust.Better to take precaution than to repent afterwards. So i think you should have under body anti rust coating.

Krishna can also give some piece of advice on this.

That's here in this thread/discussion.

just wanted to know is remote central locking just for convenience or does it offer some security as well........... can it help in securing ICE and other in car accessories

read somewhere tht new hyundai cars are cmg with built in engine immobiliser but the guy at MGF told me it's only with magna and not with era....any idea ???? guess i would confirm this with some other dealer as well because as of now i am learning how to drive and wouldn't mind waiting if i can get new i10 stock with immobiliser

one more thing does car cover damage the car body paint in any way ????

by the way still to decide on the colour of the car  ... confused btw blushing red and dark grey??   any suggestions keeping in mind the maintainence
