Congratulations Puneet & Vikram.

You have Central Locking - add Remote Locking (half-kit) - may cost around 2.5k.

Alloys are basically for looks/fancy. Good & light alloys would marginally/negligibly help better handling, braking & mileage.

Hey Suraj/Puneet - Must say that you guys got a grt deal for i10.

I am currently in Noida and took Era about 10 days back; it was for 3.75L on road with matting, mud flap, gear lock, car cover, perfume and a temple.

Have recently moved to Noida from Mumbai and find the water to be very hard here; is it suggested to go for anti-rust coat underneath the car?

Pls suggest.

Cheers!

1. Underbody Antirust coating - A Definite Yes

2. Overall Body Teflon - Well, Only if you have 5K to spend AND your car will be parked outside, not in a shaded area, without any car cover - Only then go with it

3. Alloy Wheels - There are no scientific studies to back any advantages in favour of Alloy wheels. If your car has 15inch and above size rims, You may consider alloys but 15inch and less, they are good only as a cosmetic change. Remember, Typres have more impact on the overall ride quality than metal(steel or alloy) wheels.

And since i10 has tubeless tyres so be ready for a harsher ride specially if you are coming from a maruti background   Alloys wont come handy in this case. But again, Tubeless tyres have their own advantages over tube+tyres.

Finally getting my i10 Magna delivered tommorrow. On road cost - 3.89L

Congrats puneet, 3.89L for Magna 1.2L I suppose? I reside in Rohini and contacted Himigiri Hyundai and he offered me 1.2L Magna for 4.08 which is toooooo much if compared with your offer. From where did you get it and is it after including everything on road ??
