HI Guys,

I have got a final quote from the dealer on the accessories following are the items I would go for with their prices

1) Rubber/Carpets/PVC mats  - Rs. 375

2) Mud Flaps - Rs 250

3) Side Body Mouldings - Rs 1350

4) Sun Control film - Rs 1550

5) Central Door Locking - Rs 5375

6) Wheel Covers - Rs 1180

7) Sony Sterio (Mp3 + USB) - Rs 8990

8) Speakers front/Rear 4"/6" - Rs 3903

9) Reverse Horn - Rs. 150

10) Air Freshner - Rs 165

11) Seat Covers (Leather) - Rs 3990

12) Dicky Mat - Rs. 220

13) Coating (Teflon + Anti Rust) - Rs. 7500

total comes around 34000 and he is rounding off to 30K .... Can you guys plz carry out the painstacking task of letting me know whether any of these items is rightly quoted by the dealer or is it ok if I go out to buy these stuff.

Thanks

Amit

Hi,

This sounds to be on a higher side. I have got the same thing done for my Swift for about 25K.

Specifically, the teflon, anit-rust and the stereo HU seems to be over priced. Even side body mouldings are over priced.

Regards,

K Prasad

Amit - Pleaes let us know what is the quote you got from Poona Motors after you have spoken to them. Will be useful for deciding - whether to go with the dealer or outsider in getting these done

Thanks

HI Rajesh ... No I haven't yet got the delivery .... I am still struggling with SBI's boring, long and tedious loan procedure ...

Once that gets over I will be able to get it soon. I have not researched futher on accessories as I am not sure when this damn loan thing will be over. It's been one & half week already since I have submitted my docs... every two day they ask for some new doc ... grrrrr...wouldn't have gone for SBI if their interest rate was not low.

I will keep every one posted when I get my car

If you are going for 3 years loan, then keep ready 36 leaflets of chequebook, OR order online now.

My SBI loan process was complited yesterday, Mine 25 days long wait is over.

I wil get delivery of car may be on Saturday.

Actually I am asking about your CAR delivery date because , we both can approch CAR DECOR shop and because of 2's pressure we may get good deal.

By the way I have missed ...which car are you buying and from where?? What is your expected delivery date.

One more Important thing:-

Check the invoice which dealer has given to SBI, because difference i.e. (Total CAR Price - SBI Loan Amt) u have to pay to dealer and submit that receipts to SBI at the time of LOAN Approval. If there is difference i.e. Dealer has given some discount and it is not written in SBI's Invoice copy then SBI will demand receipt for that amount.

My car is Cute SPARKY from GM (Pashankar Auto).

What is name of your dealer.
