In built security system in SX4

Hi All,

This may sound stupid but till date I have not used the in built security system of SX4 except for central locking/unlocking  with a beep from outside the car.

Recently I happened to press a button which led to lot of noise and sirens in the market.However I happened to push the "Alarm button" next to steering which switched off the sirens .

Could some one please let me know how to operate the in built security system in SX4 or for that matter any other Maruti car model(I think all Maruti cars might be having same security system).

Is it possible to activate the inbuilt security system to evade intruders or any one touching the vehicle ?If so,how ?

Unfortunately,the dealer did not provide any brochure or pamphlet about the security system of the car.

Get back to your dealer-the SX4 has an advanced security system along with the iCATS.

There will be a manual for the same provided with the car-demand the same from the dealer.

The Nippon system in your car has several setting, going through all of them would be pointless here.

The system does have a motion sensor alarm and would act as a deterent to some extend.

Dealer says there is no seperate manual for this .

Is there any manual on the net ??
