SPARK: Require HELP for Accessories

Hi All,

I require help regarding choosing right accessories for my SPARK PS, which i am booking tomorrow; I am booking from Pashankar Auto, Pune. My budget is very tight as

Dealer suggested accessories: - Filming, Parcel tray, Seat Cover, Central Lock with Immobi. , Music System with Speakers.

Now My Queries are:-

1) Filming: - As I m going for BLACK color car, do i need expensive Film or any Avg Film will do job. And do I need Film on Windscreen + Windows both. How is Garware CoolIn for Windows and CoolVision for Windscreen? Please help me in finding pricing for above films in Pune.

2) Parcel tray: - As dealer said 1200/- needed for Parcel tray is this OK, or I need to search another option from market of Car Decor.

3) Seat Cover: - Dealer Price: - Fabric 3200/- Leather 4500/- , One of my friend suggested me that I can get Leather seat cover from outside in 3500/-.

4) Central Lock with Immob. :- Dealer is saying that central lock which he has is GM specific, Only fits in GM cars, and he is pricing it for 5800/- , Is it OK.

5) Music System: - My budget is 10000/-, I require USB and IPOD. I heard about Pioneer 4050UB, but it is available only in GRAY market. Speakers:-I don’t have much idea. Please suggest me good Music system + Speaker which will fit in 10K limit and has USB.

Please provide me some good CAR DECOR names in Pune, Where I will get good Deal.

Congrats on your new wheels.

It is always better that you take accessories from outside.

1) Garware prices starts at 1k. Llumar/3M starts at 2500. I would recommend Llumar/3M. 50% VLT(visible light transmission) for sides and 70% for sides.

2) You can get it at half price from outside.

3) Your friend is correct.

4) For this price you can get a model with immobilizer and body sensor from outside. Prefer Xenos as they can also be connected to the audio system.

5) 4050UB is the grey model and 4090UB is the b&w version. They are both 2008 models. You will have to scout to find them. They are VFM models. I would suggest you to pick the audio system from outside.

This is very useful information for me, I am new to CAR world, but what I understood up till now is Dealer will give u discount from one side and from another side by quoting accessories price much higher than outside market he will withdraw all discount + extra money from pocket of customer.

Not exactly. If you choose not to take anything from him then it is fine.

Also, dealers sell everything at MRP unlike the vendors outside.

Hi, My dealer says that you should fit accessories from here only else it will create problem as in all GM cars there is negative wiring...

plz tell me whether its just marketing gimmick or its really like that.

Do one thing, Ask dealer about price quote for all accessories you need, then visit  outside good Car Decor shop and compare Dealer quotes with external quotes, If there is difference ask explanation to dealer and bargain hard.

I got my Spark LS LPG last july and i picked up some accessories @ the dealer (Anamallais Agencies Coimbatore)

Central Locking (Autocop-GM) for Rs.3500

Art Leather Rs.3500

3M Sunfilm 3200

Does the cost vary from State to State at with the Dealer too?

If you find the costs too high when compared to the outside market, do go out for them. In my case, there was not much difference and hence i got them doen @ the dealer.

Reg the music system, i  fittd Pioneer basic model with USB. (Do not remember the model correctly)

Since mine is the LPG, i was not able to mount speakers @ the rear and hence i had fitted 6" Kicker Components on the front door.

They cost around 6000.

My case was same, Dealer first quoted high price, and when I showed him quotes from 3 Pune car Decor shops he made new quote for me which was very close with outside quote. So I fitted all accessories from dealer.

 But ask for bill + warranty card for every accessory.

I took delivery of Spak yesterday. The guy told me o give Invoice after 1 week. Is it OK??

Also no PUC certificate was given. Please adisewhich arethe documents he needs to provide me while delivery(or later).
