You looking for best selling cars in past month, year or all time?

For a few months the following cars have been in top 10 (tried to keep them in order:

1. Maruti Alto
2. Maruti Wagon R
3. Hyundai i10
4. Tata Indica
5. Maruti Swift
6. Hyundai Santro
7. Maruti Swift Dzire
8. Maruti Omni
9. Maruti 800
10. Mahindra Bolero
11. Maruti A Star

Majority of those are from Maruti - mainly because of the pricing (except Swift & Dzire).

Hyundai Santro used to be in top 3 earlier. Consider i10 as new Santro. A Star too has been doing, though its sale is declining for a couple of months.

800, santro and indica used to be the top three, then it was alto, santro and indica. The story keeps on changing.

Its great that old warhead's are still in the race among with new techie's. 800 & Omni. Its really great to see that. For last 25 yrs and still in competitive.

Toyota? No chance sir. Innova is doing pretty good but is way behind Bolero in numbers. Thanks to rural India. Altis is selling in 500 odd nos per month. Camry and Prado hardly sell. I don't think Toyota ever featured in top 10 selling list (not sure about exceptions)!
