@Pankaj, thanks for the c;arification.

The AC reading refers to the cut-off temperature at the grill (not in the cabin). It is around 6 degrees celsius I believe.

@ Sunitha - are you facing many problems other than the AC?

I find the car to be quite good, but for the AC and few minor issues.

Hi all,

  Well i visited the Tata showroom yesterday & checked 3 different Vista's. It was very prominent that the AC's are definitely underpowered in all Vista's - IT'S DEFINITELY A COMPANY FAULT in all Vista's.

Hope that Tata fellows recify the problem soon.

Sunitha, get the AC rectified, as suggested by S Roy - post #49 (follow the link). I understand it is being rectified so in the cases referred.

Some problem with the rpm setting - get it reset.

The rpm level may not be rising, as required, while AC is switched ON.  The problem may not be faced while the car is in motion (with AC), as the rpm level increases with the increase in speed.  But while idling or while in motion without acceleration, it may be getting switched off due to inadequate rpm to support the AC.
