Hi All, I need comment of all Vista users...

Last weekend went to Kasuli ... Here are few of my Findings.

1. Got an average of 17 with  40% A/C on delhi - Chandigarh H/W.

2.Driving was very smooth no major error was found.

3. While climbing the Hills some times feel like need to shift to lower Gear.

4. A/C cooling was superb.

5.A/c was automatically stop for few sec - 10-15 or u can say its get trip for 10 sec while climbing towards Hills. when coming back to delhi its was working fine.

Can any one pls update me do i need to talk to TM's for the Above A/C Problem.

Hi, i also have vista -safire aura and have been facing similar problem since purchase (13th Mar 09). have been to dealer atleast 3-4 times. initially, they said some adjustment is done after 1000km, thn they recovered and refilled the gas. thn next time they did some adjustments (not disclosed to me). now it somewhat ok. i'm still not satisfied with the performance. also dealer has informed that it is a common problem faced and have reported to TML.

I have heard they are aware of the problem & are working on it.

Pankaj, would you be in a position to elaborate this?

Hi guys

This is my first post I have a month old Indica vista quadrajet 1200 kms I have some issues with my car

1)A/C does not cool much during the day and with more than two people sitting it does not cool at all I pointed this out during first servicing but the service center guy said he checked some reading and every thing
seems fine

2)with the A/C on I have started seeing some vibrations in the steering while i am stationary

3)when i turn off the ignition the whole car vibrates while going off Ihave read on various posts saying this hapens usually in diesel cars so would like to have some kinda update from the experts here,

4)I get a wierd noise when my steering is at full turn.

Would like to know from other vista owners if they also face the same issues

Other than these i had a problem with the driver side power steering which used to rolldown automatically
when i went over a speed breaker this was rectified in first servicing

Also the driver side door pad looked really old my guess is there must have been a very strong stain
which the dealer tried to remove using some harsh abrasive I called up the customer service and they gave me the
number of the customer service manager who asked me to bring the car to dealer where he checked and said the part would be replaced.

Please pardon me if i am posting in the wrong forum

@ Anil, I do not know the details - even the local dealer here doesn't know more than what he told me.

@ Charger, regarding AC problem you must have read through the discussions - it is less effective in the rear seat - felt especially in the afternoons.  Initial Vista's did have some issue with the Steering Oil but has been rectified (Oil changed) - have a look at this old thread/post.  The vibration on the steering while idling could be due to improper rpm setting.  The vibration while the car switches-off could also be due to the same.  Get the issues checked/resolved.

Hope to hear from other Vista owners.

Hi ,

Pankaj so i guess it is an accepted fact that the A/C in Indica vista underperforms and i will have to live with it , do not really understand what purpose does the A/C serve if it does not  cool well in the front seat  during the day!! and for the steering and the vibrations i am planning to go to the service center and have it checked and will update you all once I am through,Other than the issues i mentioned in the last post the car performs pretty well,Is very spacious

Hey and one more thing what reading is the dealer talking about when A/C performance is being discussed.

Correction:*Other than these i had a problem with the driver side power steering which used to rolldown automatically
when i went over a speed breaker this was rectified in first servicing*

Its a typo error its actually the power window which was rolling down

Hope we hear from many other vista owners

Hi Charger,

Indica Vista is flop like Windows Vista.

While writing this also, I am seeing advertisement of Vista on my right Yell.

Anyway..I went through total review of Vista before buying, but no one said much about AC problem. When I faced the AC problem, I created this thread.

Here is the solution -- Remember most of the service people are unable to solve the problem. The solution is -- there is a power cut off after reaching a certain level of temperature in your AC. Due to manufacturing defect that cut off is happening before reaching the desired temperature level. So your AC is not cool. This needs to be fixed. So to the service people just say this much and ask to repair it. They will be able to understand I think. My car Vista AC was fixed.

Please let us know your fixing status.

Thanks.

Roy

Indica Vista is flop like Windows Vista.

I think we shouldn't interpret so Smile  It is a lovely car but for the AC issue & a few refinements.  Hope it is rectified soon - else, it will lose the charm it otherwise enjoys/deserves.
