I got back the car after second service. AC problem still persists. I have given the feedback as such when TML called me after the service.

Please ask the concern engineer to check the cut value of the AC. Your AC is working but after reaching a certain temp power is being cut. This cutting value is not the desired one.

Thanks.

Roy

You mean there's something wrong with the sensor (?) that reads the temperature achieved, and cuts-off & on.

I think it was rectified in your case.  Can you please elaborate.

Thank you Roy & Pankaj.

Can't pin point why the cooling is low. However I suspect the cut off is not correct. So they checked and say the value is 6.3 (as I remember it) and that this value is normal. Also the service advisor said that a sensor bulb(?) is usually the culprit in Vistas, but that bulb is also working normally in my car.

I mailed TML customer service & got the stock reply once again!! Here's the mail i received

Anil-thanks for the updates.

The mail seems to be a 'standard customer service mail' though.

That's the one mentioned in blue herein above at post #24 - more of a routine/standard reply, as stated by Binoy.

@Bioy & Pankaj - yes, that is the stock reply of Tata customer care. I have received it earlier too. Dont expect much there. The service station has asked me to bring the car for check up of AC performance. I presume they have been asked by TML to do that and report back.

@Sunitha: the mail id is customercare@tatamotors.com

Hi to all. I hv just purchased my first car i.e. Indica Vista Safire on 12 May, 09. Somehow I do feel problem of AC in my car. But let me try for some more time n then I will update. I hv travelled in Maruti, Ford, etc. cars, AC is really fantastic. Shall I know what is a AC make in Vista Safire?

In my case too it had happened that speedometer guage was not working at the time of taking the delivery. After delivery I took vehicle for fuelling. I filled tank with 30ltrs petrol, but guage was not working. Same I brought to the notice of dealer immediately, who rectified the problem. I understood the problem was with sensor.

Inside door opening lock quality is not so good, otherwise lookwise n spacewise its lavish.

Bye, I will keep on posting the updates in future.

MILIND
