What is the RPM when you re-engage the clutch after the turn?

What I meant was that when the RPM is low (i.e., your foot is not pressing (or lightly pressing) the accelerator) and you try to move the vehicle, since the engine is not producing a lot of torque, it will find it harder to move the car (this is basically felt as a engine shudder when you try to move the car from stand-still without pressing the accel.). In sucha situation as the compressor is an additional load on the engine, the ECU will temporarily disengage the compressor from the engine to reduce load on it - so that max. power is available to move the car.

Thank you Venu & Arun. I found that the AC brand in my car is "BEHR". So I suppose that this could be from a defective batch. Let me see if this qualifies for a replacement.

Guess Subros is the way to go, as far as service reports on the net are showing up.

Anil, It may not qualify for replacement by default. You need to make right amount of noises with dealer or TML, Mumbai as you are living with this problem for quite long time. I suggest you can e-mail this thread link to TML to wake them up and act fast.

First of all thanks to Prasad and Venu for avise. I was away for sometime and cud not reply to your thread. I hv noticed that after my first servicing I am getting mileage of 13-14 KMPL. Is that ok?

Shall I know what is breaking system in Vista Suffire. When in off position break gets harder or does not get applied. But when you start ignition breaks starts working. Has anyone noticed this?
