That discussion is dated 2 years back.  Ford cars have higher maintenance than others but it is not as high as it used to be earlier.  Like-wise, it still has lower resale than others.

i20 is a great car. I just got it delivered 2 days ago. did 200 Km. Feels like a luxury Merc E/ S series.

Excellent car with respect to handling, braking, build quality, top most features like

* Steering Mounted Audio Controls
* Adjustable Front and Rear Head Rest
* Five Door Central Locking
* Day Night Rear Mirror
* Engine Immoblizer
* Body Colored OVRs, Door Handles and Radiator Grille, Bumpers
* E-Power Steering
* Front-Rear Power Windows
* Window Defogger
* CD/MP3 Compatible Stereo System
* Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with EBD
* Alloy Wheels, Fatter Tyres
* Wash & Wipe Rear
* USB Inputs
* Electrically Retractable & Adjustable OVRMs
* Height Adjustable Seat(Driver)
* Leathered Steering Wheel & Gear Knob
* Airbags

* Automatic climate control

Among the above list, i20 kills most of the sedan and ofcourse cars like Swift which is a shame in qulaity and rear and legroom space and boot space.  i20 does n;t feel like underpowered as most of the views on net. Its all depends how you want to use your vehicle, if you want to use like a race car, ofcourse this is not the one. If you are a safe and decent driver who is looking for top class features and give respect to quality, i20 is show stopper!.. I am a proud i20 owner!!

I wish Swift could have better on those aspects too but it is not a shame Smile

All in all, i20 is difinitely a better car.  Good decision. Congratulations.

Please do share your experience in the Review Section & also upload photos in the Album. Thanks.

I have driven Nissan Sentra in abroad for 3 years. i20 is my first car. EVen though i am coming down from sedan to hatch but its a fully loaded premium hatch rather than  base model of any sedan at 6 Lakhs.

Its a pleasure to have a car fully loaded with Internaltional standards of safety and list of features with a good service network of Hyundai.

I will add on more with pictures as in depth reviews in coming weeks.

Folks, i'm planning to buy i20-magna-petrol.My budget is around 5L showroom price.

Wanted to know a few facts. Its too early but, how would be the resale of i20 say 3-4 years down the line?

Secondly, skoda fabia 1.2 classic is coming at a similar price after the 40K discount. Is the car, with the variant + discount a good option against i20?

looks are also not that exciting..

Its depends on person to person,  in my view Fiesta is a sun at noon, and i20 is early morning sun.

If you are not considering the boot or Sudan.

check the Punto.

You will find lots of threads for punto.

Best of Luck.
