Not necessary, as in earlier posts, you can do teflon coating and rubber coarting anytime you can....

It increases color life and prevent metal getting rusted respectively...

Diesel or Shampoo - either of it.

Is it true that teflon coating should be preferably done in a closed clean environment ? How frequently should one get the teflon coating re done ? For a Honda City, how much should the teflon coating cost ?

Yes, it should be done in closed clean environment - after cleaning & drying the car thoroughly.  Teflon coating lasts for 2-3 years.  Normally people do not get it redone.  For Honda City it may cost in the range of 2.5-3K, I guess.

Recently  in Mumbai, i have spoken with two applicators  who said that Teflon needs to be repeated at least three times in one year !!!

Are there different kinds of Teflon coating available ?

Do you recommend where one may inquire for this treatment ?

thanks.

Oh, that's different - a part of treatment (in all cases).  The application includes 2 subsequent free applications preferably in 5th & 9th month from the month of 1st/main application.
