m in great dilegma i dont knw m really confused at once i want to try this but by ur experience nw m thinking that i should not go for this but the method u r using will consume a lot of time and as i park my car to roadside it is not easy for me to do this..

Well, the 4L beauty should be maintained. Therefore,it will consume time a little bit.

I dnt think the car  more demanding.

Also, just buy what Pankaj applies.Amway Car Shampoo & Siliocn Glaze.

Check what it brings to ur car.Smile

I do not apply the waxpol myself (is done by the Service Station).  But I myself do the cleaning & washing on daily/regular basis in the fashion explained in post #2.

Aditya, yes you can apply wax on teflon coating, if wet & shiny look is getting faded.

Rohit, It will cost from Rs. 1200/- to Rs. 4000/- Cost will be higher if you do it at ASS. Outside will be cheaper & economical. Teflon is material and in liquid form they will apply all over the painted surface and buff it with a polishing machine. This is in layman's language

But i heard that polishing will wipe out the upper layer of the paint that's why u got a shiny look

Teflon is a coating material and not a polish. So there is no removal of paint. Polishing machine I mentioned is just like a buffing machine. I will not advise you polishing unless you have many scratches. For normal maintenance, teflon coating & waxing will help you lot.

After applying wax, wait for 5-10 minutes till it becomes haze white and then wipe off in hard circular motion. Please do it under a shade and not directly under sun light. Then do not wash the car for next 2-3 days.

Aditya -are you sure you did got a teflon coating?

Rohit there is no point polishing on top of original Teflon.

Venu-dont be confused with Teflon(PTFE-DuPont) and 'teflon coating'!
