CarWale Forum Mumbai Meet (Experience & Photos - pg #15 onwards)

Banwari, It is better to keep on Sunday. Even I don't have holiday on Friday. So I am in for Sunday.

Cool. So, here is the confirmed list so far:

Non-confirmed (response awaited) members as of now:

Plan as of now is, we leave Mumbai before 7, reach Alibaug by 9. Do nothing the whole day except eating and talking and leave Alibaug by 5-6 so that we reach Mumbai around 8 and get back to work next day.

We will go by cars. Please confirm who all have cars in perfect working condition. I think CarWale will be able to arrange two cars (in case there are less than 10 members, nobody else needs to take car).

Should we freeze the plan?

That is a lot of development. Way to go guys.

Sure, why not. However, if you want, probably Kartik can pick you up as he lives in Thane too. Or you pick him up, either way. We will co-ordinate.

I m from Vile Parle will come Via Bandra & Sion... can pickup any one on the way or any one can pick me on the way I am ok with anything....Do let me know...

By the way has any one tried Usal & Misal with Vada at Valkan naka??? Its great , i will certainly wait there to have atleast one..... Cant wait....

Banwari I suggest we can finalise which car to take at the single meeting spot decided by you..as no point taking many cars & waste perdious petrol...& also is no fun...rest of the cars can be kept at one place unless there are atleast 4 members from the starting point it self.. what say...

Charles will come from either Bandra or Vasai depending upon his schedule and maybe you guys can catchup. If he comes from Vasai via Thane, he will come with Kartik. What we can do is, we can keep Vashi as meeting point. I will try parking extra cars either in office parking or in some mall parking. And we will push off in minimum possible cars. 4-5 persons per car.

OT: I have no clue as where this Valkan naka is. If it is between Vile Parle and Vashi, you enjoy it. If it is between Vashi and Alibaug, we all will enjoy it. Lol.

one more suggestion, can you start a seperate thread for this mumbai meet for SUnday ,  I am sure with the new revised thread few more will follow it & might join us as well. If you start a new thread it would be nice to transfer the currnet posts to the same , this will help the new member to follow & get in to the excitement as others......

The pickup plan should be finalised by Saturday evening & also prefer the exchange of cell nos of the person frm 1 group. This will help to trace the unidentified friend...quickly & to make sure that this meet does nt end up in TREASURE HUNT......LOL...I hv already noted your cell from the mail u hv sent to all & will send you an SMS, in any case you hv an access to the same. SO by Saturday hope to speak to a person whom I might pickup or will pick me up.....

Valkan Naka is in PEN on Bom-Goa Highway where if you take LEFT you head to Goa & Stright to Alibaug...& certainly I am in no mood to eat alone during this meet.. BTW my wife is already saying that I am not going for meet but only to eat....

Well, well... I think I'm getting jealous.  I wish I too could join the meet & eat
