i was surprised by what happened last week,i employ a free lance driver when ever i go out of station, last week end i took a driver,it was the first time for him in a Linea, after travelling about 400 km and returning home,he said ,sir, the car is good, but the initial pick up is lesser than our previous car,i said yes, though both cars have same horse power, the difference may be because this is a diesel car,for which he gave me a stare and asked me,sir, what are you saying,is this a diesel car?,are you sure,he asked me!,so for a person who drives evrything from amby to toyota,he could not identify that the engine is diesel, its that silent and smooth

even the guys at the diesel filling station ask me everytime if its a petrol or diesel, they dont ask the same question to a scorpio or an innova which also have petrol variants, may be they could not hear the engine noise of a Linea!

The Punto application of the engine does not seem that slick though.

The 1.3MJD is known for refinement-infact most maruti dealers here put a 'Diesel' sticker on the fuel lid of the diesel variants that they sell.

It’s natural – at home/office too (all ACs).  That’s because AC also functions as dehumidifier. It takes excess water from the air, uses it to keep the unit cool & later emits the water out through a hose.

today my car had been to service centre to replace the rear view mirror which was broken by a speeding motorist,it was swiftly done and the cost was only rs.250 inclusive of labour

also another aspect about the rear view mirror is that it has a tensile strength in that it can be bent backwards but would not brake in toto unlike the other cars,so the case remains intact
