This is for sure that this 1.2 tsi is gonna rock the market upside down.

VW is gonna be using this engine and Jazz is gonna have a touch time against it.

Rumours are that Fabia may be replace their current Petrol engine with the tsi.

The NDTV Car N Bike Show says though the engine expected is 1.2TSI, the power output would be close to 110Ps. Undecided

I heard that SKODA exploits their customers after salers. It may stoop me to go for Yeti

The news have been coming in newspaper recently and other websites have confirmed that skoda is bringing Yeti to India by 2010 but will the car be really priced at 10 lakhs? will that be a seven seater competing innova and xylo or just another crossover by skoda having similar seating like Fusion?will it get the 1.9 engine from skoda?

here are the links

Guys

The Yeti is not a full-fledged 4WD.  It uses a Haldex clutch, which is essentially a torque-sensing (hence also called TorSen) clutch to distribute power to the axle with better traction.  It is a favourite with the Volkswagen Auto Group, who also use this system on their other road-going sedans under the brand "4Motion".  It is, in very simple terms, an advanced version of electronic Traction Control.

Under normal conditions, the vehicle is a front-wheel drive.  Do not expect any great off-roadability, though it will be capable of some amount of rough-terrain driving.

At the end of the day, it is a large, spacious front-wheel-drive hatch that is expected to be a hit with young ladies - the market expects it to be a reasonably successful chickmobile.

Keep those wheels turning!

Even though the yeti is not full fledged 4x4 it is impressively beautiful.

Skoda yeti is expected to hit Indian roads by June 2010. Various online sources say that it will priced between 10-12 lakhs. I too find this surprising initially but when visited Skoda platform at Auto Expo 10, then I found it would be no big deal to put this price tag in neck of Yeti.

Yeti is SMALL SUV. Last cabin( last row) is very small. Interior space is not to be compared with CRV or same CRV segment cars. I feel that it would be put against Maruti Grand Vitara and price would also remain in 12-14 lakh range.

Beautiful European styling, good built quality interiors are for sure. But one thing that may be seen is differential lock which may allow vehicle to turn in 2X4 or 4X4 with a twist of knob.

It would be priced in the range of Octavia.
