Ami,

Price of Rs. 3000/- for 3M Winshield is correct. I got whole accessories fitted (worth around Rs. 24,000) from the shop in Chembur, Mumbai. It is total package deal and he apportioned Rs. 3000/- towards wind hield film.

Sorry, I have not been able get it installed due to time constraint.  I'm in the process of getting it done - got my door glasses alinged recently, as suggested by the dealer (sun film).  I will update with details soon.

Hi all,

I was reading this thread and was looking to fit sun film on my Corolla Altis.

I would like to ask if there is any advantage to get the sun film fitted from the showroom dealer or from outside accessiories shop? The difference is around Rs 600/ for V cool.

I had a quote for V cool in Bangalore as follows:

1. Windshield V-70: Rs 11,500

2. Sides & back H-50: Rs 9,200.

Quote for 3M as follows:

1. Windshield  CS-20 : Rs 7,000

2. Sides & back RE- Netural- Rs 5,500

I do not know, the price seems to be very high as compared to the amount being mentioned in this thread. I hope I am not getting ripped off.

Please help me in this regard. Also any members can recommend any shop in Bangalore for reasonable price.

Thanks

I must say that the prices are on the higher side.

Do check JC road for better prices.

@Vittal, As Ami said, the prices are too high. It is generally cheaper to do it outside (good accessory shop) rather than dealer.
