Hi

I have been told that Icecool shield is the film of choice for windscreen if you plan to go with Garware.

Can you please elaborate/give details of specifications, pricing etc. The one referred by me is Ice Cool Light.

Thanks.

Pankaj

I enquired about this for my 'to be received' Vista and was quoted 2500/- just for the windshield.

You can get info on this film from Garware website - here is a small extract:

Icecool Shield: Superior film developed for the front windscreen that has a VLT of 70% and rejects heat upto 50%. Top of the line product from Garware Suncontrol.

Icecool Elite: A Central Motor Vehicle Rule 1989 compliant film which rejects 50% and has a VLT of 70%.

Thanks for the info. I had seen the catalog of Garware films & have selected/liked the ones referred by me earlier due to colour/shade etc. However, I will re-check.

@Venkat - the International film has a lower heat rejection (35%) and is consequently cheaper.

Pankaj, pl recheck the windshield film. I think Icecool shield is the best. UI talked to a few guys who had done this on their cars. Else you may have to go for Vcool, but thats a lot costlier.

I am having 3M Film on windshield and it is specially made for wind shield. The cost was around Rs. 3000/- in Mumbai.

Well, I would say it's VFM (value for money) - serves the purpose well Smile

Venu - The price seems quite low. 3M/Llumar charge above 4500 for front wind shield.
