I will check for 3M for front windscreen + side glasses etc (both requirements) - total cost not exceeding 7K. Will do that tomorrow & revert with specifications seeking further advice.

The current sunfilms are from some company (am not aware / don't remember) - just okay type - had got it installed for only Rs.850/- (discussed before).

Looking at your prime concern,u can delay your extending or upgrading the side mirror films.

Better take the front shield fims with utmost care.See for 3M or Vkool(out of budget).

Visit any of the 3M outlet ot shoot a mail to their guys. They mite give u an appropriate answer.

We have a dealer/distributor (?) for 3M locally. I will be checking the prices/specifications tomorrow (will update this thread).  I would also be changing/replacing the sunfilms for door glasses etc., for the reasons discussed.

VLT -> Visible Light Transmission. VLT for side is 50% and for front and back it is 70%(according to RTO).

I'm sorry, no development on my front - I just couldn't check/enquire.  Will be doing it positively in a couple of days & will post all the details.
