Hello, I drive a Sonata, and am looking for an Upgrade. I am looking for something as Spacious, more Powerful and Automatic Transmission. Your site recommended Audi A4, Mercedes C Class, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. The cars suggested seem perfect. However, the Audi A4 and the Mercedes C Class are not as spacious, as the Sonata, and hence are ruled out. The options in the market, seem to be Honda Accord, Honda CR-V and Toyota Camry. Another Option is to wait for the BMW Series 3, which I believe is as spacious as the Sonta. What do you suggest ??

U seem very much satisfied with your Sonata. Sonata Embera is much better Sonata, you can think of this car too. Another powerful, luxurious option could be Skoda Superb (Diesel is better).

Don't walk as if you own the world. Walk as if you don't care who owns the world. That's Attitude!

One wants to Upgrade from a Sonata, hence the Sonata Embera is ruled out. As for the Skoda, the Skoda brand is not a Great Brand Internationally, not sure, how or why it sells in India ;)

@Rajeev. Don't suggest Mr. Singh a Skoda. Skoda reminds him of Skoda jokes, right Mr. Singh? :~) Well, I find Honda Accord V6 best for you. You'll forget your Sonata and will love it. If you believe in changing car quickly then it will help with great resale too unlike your current Sonata which will go for almost nothing! In two-three months new Accord is coming too. Camry is a good option considering the luxury but as far as performance is concerned, Accord V6 is simply superb.

Banwari, Should one wait for the New Accord, or the new BMW Series 3, or take the Accord v6, which is being offered at a discount of Rs. 1.6 lacs, as of date.

Mr. Singh, New Accord will take at least 2 months to come and will be priced a bit higher. So in terms of money, you will be in loss of at least 3-3.5 lakhs considering the discount and new Accord's higher price. BMW 3-Series is a class of its own in performance, space and luxury but this car may take up to 3-4 months. Moreover price difference would be too much as compared to Accord. BMW 3-Series will come in Mercedes C-Class range i.e. 32-35 lakh. If you are not willing to wait much then current Accord is the best bid.

Banwari, This is the response I got from Deutsche Motoren Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, who are the Delhi Dealers for BMW --> "We have started taking the orders of BMW 3 series. Presently we are offering the following models in 3 series : Model Approximate Cost (Ex-showroom) BMW 320i Rs.28.20 Lacs BMW 320d Rs.29.70 Lacs BMW 325d Rs.32.50 Lacs We will deliver the cars in the month of January / Febuary." This is exactly what I said. They will take three months to deliver and price would be in 32-35 lakh range: Prices you told are ex-showroom ones. BMW 320i Rs.28.20 Lacs - Approx on-road: 32-33lakh BMW 320d Rs.29.70 Lacs - Approx on-road: 33-34lakh BMW 325d Rs.32.50 Lacs - Approx on-road: 35-37lakh Now, Mr. Singh, if you are willing to own a BMW, this much wait and investment is inevitable. Honda Accord V6 is no match to BMW 3-Series but is a fantastic car. Even if you are willing to buy a BMW, you should take a test-drive of Accord V6 at least.

Banwari, I understand even a BMW 325 would be 2500cc, as compared to Honda Accord v6, which is 3000cc. Let me test drive the v6, today itself.

Banwari, Thanks a ton, I did Test Drive the Honda Accord V6, yesterday ... Amazing Car ... Oodles of Power, Good Road Grip, Comfortable, Rich from Inside ... infact, aptly described as the Ultimate Accord. I will be test driving the New Honda CR-V tomorrow, and then decide what to buy. As for the Toyota Camry, this is an experience worth sharing ... None of Dealers of Toyota give a Test Drive of the Camry ... how does Toyota expect to sell a Rs. 24 lacs car, without someone trying it out first. I just bought a Toyota 4Runner in the US, and the customer support experience was different. Here it seems, in India, that Toyota has become to big for it's boots ... Best of Luck to Toyota, they have lost a Possible customer. I even called Toyota Office in Bangalore, to talk to the person heading North Sales, Mr. Panda, but apparently even he was not available, to talk. This is customer service. If before selling a car, this is the attitude, what can one expect from Toyota, once one has got the car ;)
