@Nayan-> Accent has H4 bulbs i.e. 55 W so the options you have for white are

Philips Crystal Vision (I have them on my accent and are good. MAke sure to change the complese set i.e. normal as well as parking bulbs).. these are white light. around 900 bucks

Philips diamond vision- These are the blue ones you might have seen.. have a bluish white light - around 950 bucks

Philips Crystal Vision Ultra- yet to find these in Indian markets philips claim they are better than crystal vision - no idea

Osram night breaker- good one but I personally found the intensity to be less. - 900 bucks.

then there are some local brands if you would like.

Finally, if you are willing to use a relay and upgrade you have other options too since you can then fit a 90w bulb.

Hi Shashank,

I just relaised the one of the bulb (left one) short range is not working. I want to good intensity so that i can see it clearly. What would be the cost if i change all the bulbs that is short and long one. What would be the cost of all these bulbs. I want to keep my expense to the minimum.

As far as I know there are 4 bulbs for Accent. 2 normal headlights (both low and high beams) and 2 for parking (the lowest intensity ones). So basically you need to change all 4 (the Crystal vision that I told earlier has all 4 bulbs in the pack). Cost 900 rs

Rs. 900 for all 4 bulbs.....sounds good......my rear tail light cover is broken on both the sides (only the cover) and unfortunately none of the shops have the cover, they are asking me to replace the entire thing which costs Rs. 450 per set for the cheaper one and Rs. 1200 for the good quality one. Can you please guide me, is that true that we don't get outer cover of tail light ? do we have to replace the entire unit including the inner lights ?

Guys, I wish to change the HL of my Vista Aura QJD to get a better night vision. I think Vista has seperate bulbs for high, low and park (so 6 in total). Can I change just the 2 HL bulbs to 90/100 without a relay? What brands would be ideal & at what cost?

None of the bulbs under consideration will be 'white'.

HID is the only option for pure white light.

Also the park bulbs need not be changed at all.

True that they are not comparable to HID but these are good enough to qualify as white. There is a significat price difference between HID and these and if someone does not have a price constraint then HID is way to go but generally these bulbs are considered poor man's xenons !! and personally I feel they aren't bad either. both in terms of quality and intensity of light and whiteness.

The parking bulbs can be left out but leaves a significant yellow spot within the white beam. I have a personal experience with this so I know (atleast for accent).

Thats suprising as the park bulbs are rated 10/5W and i have never seen the park bulbs shine through even with a 55W standard headlight.

Are you sure about the wattage on the park bulbs?

Yep the wattage indeed is lower but I could clearly see the yellow sopt. The parking bulbs in Accent are inside the main head lamp and not on side. On high beam it wasn't as significant but on low beam could clearly see that yellow emission within the white (i had a bluish white light at that time. I hope you remember my Eagle eye lamps )
