... in order to avoid any flaming wars later on.

There would never be any 'flaming wars' if the dissimilarities are discussed modestly & on academic platform (instead of arrogantly & on personal platform).

There's no harm in disagreeing - in fact it's good for all & the forums as well Smile

Yes Pankaj, that is what I intended to convey...

ADDING SUPERCHARGER IN HYUNDAI I20

Hi Guys,

I find my Hyundai i20 (1.2 ltr) Petrol (ASTA) quite good in all aspects. That includes driveability, gear shift, comfort etc. However, the car lags power in hilly terrain where I am residing.

Is it possible to fix supercharger to enhance the power so that the car performs well in hilly terrain also.

Please help and advice.

GOvind

Govind-Welcome to CW!

For all practical considerations adding a supercharger is not possible in case of the i20.

Well, as Binoy said it is not practical. However if you are really interested in increasing power (given that you live in hilly terrain where the air might be not as dense) and are willing to let go of any warranty the car has AND willing to spend money, it could be done (by experts who by no means will do it cheap!). However be aware that this is fraught with the risk of ending up with a useless engine.
